How to obtain a Driver Statement or Letter of Entitlement for an Irish Licence?

You will need to complete this Driver Statement Form and include your name as it appears on your learner permit or driving licence, Driver Number, Date of Birth, PPSN and whether you would like to receive it by email or post. No fee required.

Note:Information relating to a driver statement will only be issued to the email address provided in the Driver Statement Request form or the postal address linked to the driver record. Information will not be released to any third party.

A driver’s statement is not required to renew your motor insurance policy. To renew your motor insurance policy all you need is your driver number which can be located at 4d of your learner permit or driving licence.
